Annual IEC Atlanta Sporting Clay Shoot at Garland Mountain Lodge

IEC Atlanta held its annual Sporting Clay Shoot at Garland Mountain Lodge on Friday November 14th. The tournament kicked of at 10am with 29 teams, with 116 shooters ready to take aim.
The Garland Mountain Lodge is newly renovated and the grounds are one of the most scenic landscapes of Northwest Cherokee County, so participants were in for quite an adventure.
As they locked and loaded, some of the competitors truly left their mark on the 2025 Sporting Clay Shoot. Let’s congratulate the winners!
1st place goes to team Lighting Associates with Karl Ledsinger, Eric Lockwood, Russ Walker & Will Thomas scoring 332. Great job by a team of sharp shooters!
2nd place is team Atlantic Workforce with David Harden, Kevin Naquin, Ray Scott and Justin Ray scoring 322.
3rd place is team Georgia Specialty Constructors with Paul Darden, Zac Melton, John Owen & Gene Smiley scoring 322.
There were a couple of standout shooters that earned special honors. Congratulations to the High Shooter, Russ Walter of Lighting Associates with an individual score of 96! Finally, we congratulate Michael Cox for coming in DAL (Dead Ass Last) with the lowest score of 14! Thanks for being a great sport, Michael! See pictures from this event below.
