Mientras la organizaci\u00f3n celebraba seis d\u00e9cadas de excelencia en el sector de la contrataci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica, los asistentes recordaron el duro trabajo, la dedicaci\u00f3n y la colaboraci\u00f3n que han dado forma al \u00e9xito de la IEC.<\/p>\n<p>La velada, presentada por Darren Hodge, Presidente de la Junta Directiva de IEC Atlanta, comenz\u00f3 con un agradecimiento a los generosos patrocinadores, entre los que se encontraban <strong>Seguros Federados<\/strong>, patrocinador general del evento. As the organization marked six decades of excellence in the electrical contracting industry, attendees were reminded of the hard work, dedication, and collaboration that has shaped IEC\u2019s success.<\/p> <p>Hosted by IEC Atlanta Board President, Darren Hodge, the evening kicked off with gratitude toward the generous sponsors, including <strong>Federated Insurance<\/strong>, the Overall Event Sponsor. Their support, along with many others, made the event possible.<\/p> <p>The heart of the celebration was the recognition of outstanding individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to IEC and the industry.<\/p> <p><strong>Award Winners:<\/strong><\/p> <ul> <li><strong>Lifetime Achievement Award<\/strong>: <strong>Tom LeMay<\/strong> for his extensive service, including his role as Board President, instructor, and committee member.<\/li> <li><strong>Industry Award<\/strong>: <strong>Joel Wiggins<\/strong> of the Southern Group, for leading the successful passage of SB 180, resulting in a $50,000 grant for IEC.<\/li> <li><strong>President\u2019s Award<\/strong>: <strong>Greg Holloway<\/strong>, Secretary\/Treasurer of IEC and President of EC Services, for his crucial work in renovating IEC\u2019s new building.<\/li> <li><strong>Manufacturer Partner of the Year<\/strong>: <strong>DeWalt<\/strong> and <strong>Sean McGuiness<\/strong> for providing 125 backpacks for graduating apprentices, supporting the next generation of electricians.<\/li> <li><strong>Distributor of the Year<\/strong>: <strong>Lade Electric Supply<\/strong> and <strong>Adam Aspinwall<\/strong> for their 20 years of support, including a $10,000 donation for training materials.<\/li> <li><strong>Specialty Partner of the Year<\/strong>: <strong>On Electrical Services<\/strong> and <strong>Andres Hernandez<\/strong> for their consistent support and involvement in IEC events.<\/li> <li><strong>Contractor of the Year<\/strong>: <strong>Dan Lareau<\/strong> for his contributions to IEC\u2019s classrooms and his role as an instructor at the Kennesaw location.<\/li> <\/ul> <p>The evening also included the <strong>Length of Membership Awards<\/strong>, recognizing 27 contractors for their long-term dedication, including companies with 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 years of membership.<\/p> <p>See pictures of these winners below.<\/p> <p>As the event drew to a close, the crowd enjoyed a 60-year video montage and participated in a lively <strong>Paddle Raffle<\/strong>, raising funds for IEC\u2019s ongoing initiatives.<\/p> <p>The 2025 Christmas Party and 60th Anniversary Celebration was truly an event to remember, highlighting the remarkable achievements of IEC members and partners.
