Step 1: Complete the Enrollment Information Form
The first step in the application process is completing the enrollment information for the Trainee Google form, the link for which is located at the bottom of the current web page.
Step 2: Attend a Workforce Event
To proceed with the application process, applicants need to attend at least one of IEC’s workforce events. The options for these events include an open house, an online information session, or a work readiness seminar.
Step 3: Complete the Online Math Assessment
Before enrolling in the apprenticeship program, all applicants must complete an online math assessment using a system called Flexi Quiz. The assessment covers basic algebra and must be completed in 30 minutes.
Step 4: Complete Application for Enrollment
After attending a workforce event and completing the online math assessment, the International Electrical Certification (IEC) will send an email containing a link to the application for enrollment.
Step 5: Enrollment into the Apprenticeship Program
Enrollment in the apprenticeship program is completed by the IEC staff during published enrollment periods after you have completed the necessary steps, which include attending a workforce event, the math assessment, and the enrollment application.
