You can look for this information source the 1st Wednesday of each month. We are delivering our Workforce Power Source Bulletin to all IEC member workforce contacts.

RECRUITMENT
IEC Basic Skills Installer Program: August class was filled! 30% of the Installer applicants have been hired and are in the IEC apprenticeship program. The next Installer Program begins September 1st. Register your new workers to attend here. If you hired a worker from an IEC Career fair or one of the new IEC Basic Skills Installer Program graduates, it will be great if you let us know! We have a quick and easy way for you to tell us who you hired and when! Click this quick link and let us know!
Introduction of the Accumulated Credit Transfer (ACT) Program – We will be working with qualifying local high schools to offer their graduating Electrical Program Completers an opportunity to enter the IEC Apprenticeship Program either at the 1st Year, Second Semester or 2nd Year, 1st Semester.

How do we do this? Engagement with local schools. (Develop early interest in the field)

Additional communication channels for Workforce Contacts. We now have the capability to send text messages to accompany email announcements.
