IEC Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Highlights

On September 2nd, 330 Research Court in Peachtree Corners was filled with 125 dignitaries, contractors, partners and guests with tours, speeches, food and champagne! See video of event highlights here.
The celebration, hosted at the newly opened IEC Atlanta & Georgia Training Center, provided an opportunity for scholarship recipients to connect with industry leaders, tour the state-of-the-art facility, and meet local contractors. The event underscored the organization’s commitment to building a robust, skilled workforce through the IEC apprenticeship program.
There were numerous highlights at the event, including well wishes from Secretary of State candidate Tim Fleming and Georgia Representative Scott Hilton. Fox 5 was also on hand to spotlight the grand occasion. Check out their story here.
Board President Darren Lodge thanked the attendees and gave a special thank you to the Atlanta Board of Directors for their support to make the new training center a reality. A special video of the renovation of the building was shown and can be see here. Tours of the building were provided after a spread of BBQ was enjoyed by the attendees.
