IEC Columbus Golf Tournament Connects GA Chapter Members and Guests

On Friday, June 13^th, IEC Georgia chapter hosted its 2025 Columbus Golf Tournament at the Maple Ridge Golf Club in Columbus, Georgia. 15 teams assembled of Contractor members, partner members and guests, joined in a competitive and fun networking opportunity at this 18-hole championship golf course! They came to play hard, and that’s exactly what the IEC Columbus golfers did!

Congratulations to those who would rise to the occasion and leave this event with their well-deserved trophies.

1^st Place- Team Interstate with Andy Robbins, Justin Gordon, Tracey Hurst and Brandon Summers
2^nd Place- Team Smith Gray Electric with Trip Reynolds, Troy Davis, Eddie Mitja, and Joey Barfield
3^rd Place- Team Brasfield and Gorrie with Sean Meguiness of Dewalt, Tyler Martindill, Blake Riley and Kyle Henry
Closest to the Pin- Ashley Bell of Interstate Electrical

IEC’s Columbus GA Golf Tournament

IEC hosted its annual Columbus Golf Tournament on Friday, June 7^th at Maple Ridge Golf Club in Columbus, GA. There were 16 teams in attendance, ready to tee off, network and golf.

Who brought their A-Game to the beautiful Maple Ridge greens? We have winners who displayed excellent form and sportsmanship. Let’s congratulate them.

First Place- Team Fuller, Fire and Safety with a score of 52. Congratulations to Matt Davis, Daniel Kirkland, Steven Sanders and Bratley Atkins.

Second Place- Team Mayer/Legrand scoring 55. Wes Brooks, Tom Kobe, Brad Eagle and Sean Osmand worked hard and secured 2^nd place.

Third Place- Team Metropower scoring 56. Not bad at all for Hunter Watson, Ryan Pickrell, Tucker Crowson and Dillon Crowson.

Fourth Place- Team Interstate Electrical scored 59. Great job Chris Rinaldi, Brandon Summers, Andy Robbins and Tracey Hurst.

There were two specialty award winners on the greens. Congratulations to Steven Sanders on accomplishing the longest drive and John Pound on getting closest to the pin! We appreciate your skill level!

IEC Georgia Hosts a Colossal Fundraising Columbus Golf Tournament

IEC Georgia Chapter held its Columbus Georgia Golf Tournament at the Maple Ridge Golf Club on Friday June 17^th. 25 teams participated with close to 100 golfers, and interactive sponsors posted on multiple holes along the way. This was IEC Georgia’s largest tournament yet. Golfers teed off at 8:30am and the competition and comradery was underway.

Congratulations to the following tournament winners!

1^st place- Team Fuller Fire & Safety Equipment, Phillip Psalmond, Michael Wright, Jake Harrelsome and Robin Boyd with a score of 55.
2^nd place- Team Interstate Electrical Supply, Andy Robbins, Brandon Summers, Tracy Hurst and Justin Gordon with a score of 57.
3^rd place- Team Metropower, Jason Crowson, Adam Byrd, Ryan Pickrell and Josiah Goodman with a score of 57.
4^th place- Team Lighting Associates and Alexander Electric, Andy Smith, Ben Mann, Jacob Wood and Jeff Bates with a score of 58.
Longest Drive- Josh Whitehead
Closest to the Pin- Ben Snow
IEC Golf Poker Hand winner- Blake Jones

This fundraising event supports IEC’s GIFT Foundation that provides scholarships to apprentices in need of assistance for their apprenticeship. Contractors, partners and guests gather for a good cause.
